Christmas children's books

I bought my children two Christmas classics this year, The Nutcracker and T'was the Night Before Christmas, as we previously had a copy of neither. They have sat through the two so many times I have to recommend anyone else that doesn't have a copy add them to their collection also.
There are many fantastic Christmas themed books, but a favourite every year in our house is Billabong Bill's Bushfire Christmas.

This book is fantastic as it tells a story about something we always hear about around in Australia at Christmas: bushfires. Surprisingly, many children's books about Christmas simply consist of words and pictures around a theme, yet this tells a tale and focuses on something difference. The illustrations are in a unique style, different enough to draw attention, with native animals hiding about the pages for little ones to find.

Which Christmas books for children do you recommend? Any new ones this year?
